Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the agreement between you and Martina Henry when you use this website, book an appointment, or place an order in the online shop. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Note: This is a starter version of these terms. They cover the most important points but should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before launch, especially if you sell internationally.
Who we are
“We”, “us” or “I” refers to Martina Henry, a private home studio in Colchester, Essex, United Kingdom, run by Martina Henry as a sole trader. “You” or “the customer” means the person who visits the website, books a service, or places an order.
Use of the website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy, modify or distribute the content without permission, attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, or use it for anything unlawful.
Bookings and orders
When you place an order in the shop or book a session, you are making an offer to buy. The order is only confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email. Until that point the order may be declined for any reason, including stock availability, suspected fraud, or errors in the listing.
All orders require an account at checkout. You may create one during checkout (you’ll be asked to set a password), or log in if you already have one. Guest checkout is not offered. See the Privacy Policy for detail on how account data and deliverable files are handled.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken in full at the time of order via the secure payment processor offered at checkout. Prices may change from time to time, but the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.
Shipping
Physical items (such as crystal boxes) are shipped by Royal Mail or another carrier of our choice. Estimated delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within three working days. International orders may incur customs duties and import taxes, which are the recipient’s responsibility.
Digital deliveries
Online readings are personally prepared after your order is placed. Please allow up to seven days for delivery. You will receive an email when the reading is ready, with a download link. The reading also remains available on your My Account page so you can return to it whenever you need.
Booking cancellations
Your booking is confirmed and final once submitted. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment. Bookings and deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% fee, and no-shows will be charged in full.
Returns, refunds and cancellations
Returns and cancellations are governed by the Returns & Cancellations Policy. In summary: physical products may be returned within 14 days; digital readings cannot be refunded once delivered; in-person sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a charge.
Nature of intuitive readings, energy work and similar services
Intuitive readings, reiki, and other energy or spiritual services offered through this site are provided for personal guidance, reflection and well-being. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other form of professional advice. If you are dealing with a medical or psychological condition, please consult a qualified practitioner. By booking a reading or session you accept these services on this basis.
Beauty treatments
Beauty treatments are carried out by a qualified and insured practitioner. You agree to disclose any relevant health information (allergies, medications, recent treatments) honestly before each appointment. We may decline a treatment if there is a clinical reason to do so.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, images, branding and the contents of personalised readings — is the property of Martina Henry unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, redistribute or commercialise this content without prior written permission. Personalised readings are created for your personal use; please don’t share or republish the file.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any one order or service is limited to the amount you paid for that order or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
